The Double C is located on state highway 63/1 five miles west of Talihina, Oklahoma We are located in the valley of Buffalo Mountain and enjoy our beautiful mountain view the year around.
Merle Carman introduced the Boer Goat to his cattle ranch in the year 2000. He had a desire to utilize the efficiency of the goat to help clear unwanted vegetation. Over the past few years he has worked to improve genetics to produce a hardy muscled meat goat which can work effectively to clear brush and do well when it is time to go to market.
Carrie Carman joined her Uncle in 2003 with an interest to raise fullblood and percentage stock that could do well and show and still be hardy enough to go to pasture
Carrie moved to Verden, OK in the Fall of 2006 expanding her herd and adding powerful genetics to the Buck pen. With Carrie’s marriage to Bryan Linn in the summer of 2007 Linn Farm’s was introduced to the concept of goat ranching.
